If you don't know by now from other posts I've made about movies but I'm addicted to movies. I love movies and I love researching actors in those movies. One of my favorite things to do is watch movie trailers on Imdb.com. Seriously. I check several times a week for new movie trailers.
My latest movie finds are
1. Take this waltz.

This is a rom-com with Michelle Williams and Seth Rogan. They are married and everything appears to be just fine until Michelle meets this random guy (Luke Kirby) and she starts to re-evaluate her marriage.
I liked the movie because it is a bit funny and romantic and I felt that it was a good depiction of what some couples go through. Especially young couples that have been together for a long time.
2. Butter

I really enjoyed this movie. I actually waited SO long for it to become available. This was not released in theaters and if it was it was probably just those indie theaters in NYC. This movie is about Butter. Seriously.. about butter-carving. Jennifer Garner(who is so adorable except in this movie) is the wife of a famous butter carver. He decides to quit the business and give up carving and now her social standing is at risk. So, she decides to go into butter carving but meets some competition with other people. It's funny and sweet, and there are so many famous people in this movie.
3. Jesus Henry Christ

This is another sweet and funny movie about a genius kid(Jason Spevek) that experiences a existential crisis at the age 11 and decides to search for his biological father. Toni Collette is funny as well as Michael Sheen. I highly recommend watching this movie.
Well..those are some of the new Indie films I've watched over the past week. They are all available on watch instantly on Netflix.
Have you've watched an interesting movies lately?

I had my fingers crossed, hoping that you would say they are available on Netflix and when you said that, I almost did a little dance. I have been meaning to watch some movies of late, I'm especially excited about Butter.
ReplyDeleteI have been leaving in a cave for sometime now so I don't know what's what. Since the summer, I haven't paid any mind to what's showing and what will be showing. I love Indie movies too. There's often a little twist to blow ones mind for at least an instant.
All of these sound awesome. And you say they're on Netflix? I think I know what we're doing this weekend!
ReplyDeleteI looove watching movies, but I have to watch them alone. I can't watch them with my boyfriend because he doesn't pay attention and then he keeps asking me "whats going on?" and then I have to explain and miss some of the movie. Just pay attention!! Lol :D
ReplyDeleteI totally understand. My boyfriend always asks what is going one while we are watching a movie we've never seen. Seriously??
DeleteOh! I have Netflix! Great recommendations. Looks like movie fest this weekend it is! :)
